MotherFUDD the Gathering takes place once a year. It started to help Heavy Metal Bands to have a haven of their own. This gathering is so different from other Festivals. It hosts only one stage which has only the best equipment, sound & lights.

We at Motherfudd feel that every band that gets onto the Motherfudd line up will not just be a number in 100. We promote the bands that play to the best of our ability. We keep the bands at a minimum as every band deserves to get the best attention from the crowd. Too many stages, too many bands is not the formula for Motherfudd, we are a brotherhood who believe strongly in our music, the bands & you who support us.

The date is the 12-14th March 2010. The venue is Malonjeni Guest Farm.
We know how tough it is to come up with money after December and hopefully this will give you a little time to recover, ticket price is R220.
This time we have thought to make it a little holiday for you with the music that keeps us together. The new venue is Malonjeni Guest Farm. This is about a half hour drive from Alberton, so yes we are going back home to the South where Motherfudd started.

Malonjeni – “The Place of the Gathering” true to its name. It has two lovely Camp areas. There are toilets, baths, showers (hot water). Malonjeni has two swimming pools. Malonjeni will run its own bar for you and their prices are great!

Malonjeni also has a game farm, we have arranged for the Game Drive to stay open for you. We stress that for your safety & for the animals you treat the animals with respect. The game are separate from our function & the music will not affect them. We do keep to the “noise pollution” legalities.
Malonjeni is very happy to have us on board, they are aware that we are different to all of the commercial festivals. I was proud to talk about The Fudders as you guys have so much fun but are not destructive as I have seen at other festivals.

We are ecstatic to announce that MotherFUDD 2010 and all you lovely fudders will be banging our way into the history books...literally.
Yes, and not just any history books either...

MotherFUDD 2010 will be hosting the first ever Official Guinness World Record for “The Most People Headbanging ...Simultaneously”
and we are very proud indeed, not only that it will be us Fudders that make our international mark but also that it's South Africans that will be setting it.

Everything is good to go and we will soon announce which song the most momentous bangon of your life will be set to.

You won't only be setting the bar for all South African headbangers but for metalheads all over the world and thus your name will be entered and logged for being part of this benchmark even
